History

Remember your childhood days in grade school?  Classrooms consisted of green or black chalkboards with students trying to avoid the nasty chalk dust that got everywhere, even in your eyes. It was usually considered a punishment to have to go outside and beat out the chalk dusters. A testament to their versatility, these chalkboards persisted for several hundred years.

The modern whiteboard gained widespread popularity only as recently as the mid 1990’s.  This was driven partly by the requirement for computers in the workplace that did not like chalk dust.  By this time there was also concern that chalk had potentially adverse health affects, particularly on school children.  Soon everywhere that ideas and thoughts were shared had a whiteboard and it became an indispensable requirement for any meeting.

From chalkboard to whiteboard and now to the Illumino Lightboard, the next generation writing surface has arrived.  Contact us today to bring some light to your next brainstorm.
